Dr. James has been treating children in Dallas since 2011 and has extensive training in pediatric dentistry, including oral surgery, trauma management, interceptive orthodontics, restorative care, behavior management, and treatment for patients with special needs. He is one of the best in children’s dentistry due to his commitment to staying up-to-date and his passion for educating kids about the value of healthy dietary and oral hygiene habits.

Dr. Sandy Barnes

DDS

Dr. Barnes completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center.

Dr. Barnes enjoys daily interactions with every patient and her dental team. Every day is a new adventure where she embarks on educating patients on oral health topics and being attentive to their needs. Her most rewarding experience as a pediatric dentist is providing a fun and relaxing environment for her patients.

Dr. Meagan Steward

DDS

Dr. Meagan Steward is a native of Louisiana. She attended McNeese State University where is majored in Biology, a minor in Chemistry, and a concentration in Pre-Dental studies. She received her DDS degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in May of 2017. In June 2018, she completed her dental anesthesia fellowship through the medical anesthesiology program of Indiana University School of Medicine at Eskenazi County Hospital. She then began her pediatric dental residency program immediately after attending the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University where she also received her Master’s in Dental Sciences. Dr. Steward is an active member in the community through various organizations. In her free time, she loves to travel, listen to podcasts, and spend time with family and friends.

Dr. Ratrice Jackson

DDS, MHS

Dr. Jackson is an accomplished Pediatric Dentist who possesses a steadfast desire for providing passionate, altruistic, and quality care to children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and her Masters of Health Sciences from Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Following dental school, Dr. Jackson completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program through NYU Langone Hospitals: Tampa, Florida Site.

Dr. Jackson’s patience, compassion, and sincere character are her strongest attributes. She unceasingly delivers a welcoming, trustworthy, positive environment that allows each patient to feel at home. Outside of the office, Dr. Jackson enjoys quality time with family and friends, watching/playing basketball, traveling, and making others around her smile. In addition, she enjoys reading inspirational books as she yearns to continuously encourage others across the world through motivational speaking.

Dr. Philip Pan

Dr. Pan grew up in Richardson, Texas and attended Baylor University for his Bachelor of Science degree. He then received his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, followed by his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Dental Association. One of his greatest appreciations of this profession is to walk alongside a patient through their orthodontic journey and witness the transformation of a smile. Dr. Pan cherishes spending time with family and being involved with church activities.

Dr. Grace Lee

DDS

Dr. Grace Lee grew up along the East Coast and attended the University of Maryland where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology. She then graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2011 where she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Upon graduation she moved to sunny California where she pursued her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Lee enjoys working with patients of all ages and does her best to attend educational courses to stay current with new technologies that may be beneficial to treatment. She loves to educate patients and help improve their functional as well as esthetic concerns. It brings her great joy to see the functional and physical improvements orthodontic treatment can bring into patients’ lives as well as their smiles. She is a very patient, genuine and positive person with a strong work ethic and excellent people skills. She loves the orthodontic profession and the relationships that she has formed with her patients and their families. Her genuine happiness shows in her own smile and gentle personality. Dr. Athena Whitfield

DDS

Dr. Athena Whitfield is originally from Norfolk, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in 2005, majoring in Dental Hygiene with a minor in Psychology. While working as a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist in family dentistry for 5 years, Dr. Athena went to school during the evenings to complete prerequisites for dental school. During her matriculation through Howard University College of Dentistry, she continued to work as a temp dental hygienist, as well as picked up one of her earlier passions of babysitting. Caring for several families’ children throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, during her third year of dental school, Dr. Athena found her calling in the field of pediatric dentistry. She went on to receive her Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from Howard University after completing a 2-year postdoctoral residency program in Pediatric Dentistry.

After enduring 6 years of northern winters, desperately craving southern hospitality and temperatures, Dr. Athena has decided to make Texas her family’s home. In her spare time, Athena enjoys spending time with her family, reading, enjoying pastimes like completing jigsaw puzzles, being outside in nature, interacting with animals, and meditating.

Dr. Amenda St. Hilaire

My name is Dr. Amenda St. Hilaire, but all my patients call me “Dr. Meni”. I have a black belt in fighting sugar bugs and I save lives one smile at a time.

I love serving my community and find absolute joy when working with kids. I am very passionate about ensuring everyone has access to quality dental care.

I have volunteered at dental clinics in both the US (Florida and California) and internationally (Haiti and Ghana)

Some fun facts about me:

I love fashion and I love to travel. I speak English, Haitian Kreyol, some French and am currently learning Spanish.

Dr. Abi

DDS

Dr. Abi was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States when she was 13. She attended the University of Houston for her Bachelor of Science degree. She then received her dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry, followed by the completion of her pediatric residency at Saint Louis University. Dr. Abi is passionate about developing strong bonds with her patients to ensure they have a great time during their appointment.

Outside of her work at Texas Tiny Teeth, Dr. Abi enjoys a variety of hobbies, such as reading, sleeping, and traveling. To foster her love for reading, she actively participates in a book club where she discovers new and exciting books. She also has a Shiba Inu named Samurai but calls him Sam for short. When Dr. Abi is not in the office, she dedicates her time to her six-month-old daughter, who is currently erupting her first set of teeth!

Dr. Justin McCray

DMD

Dr. Justin McCray is a proud native of Ridgeland, MS, where he was a high school and junior college basketball athlete, until he discovered his passion for dentistry. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi, Dr. McCray headed to Cleveland, OH to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Upon completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, he decided to remain at Case Western to pursue his specialty training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. McCray enjoys providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all of his patients. He is known for his charismatic demeanor, and his exceptional ability to gain the trust of his patients to ensure a positive, fun visit.

When he’s not in the dental chair, Dr. McCray enjoys an active lifestyle filled with fun and adventure. Whether he’s training at the gym, exploring a new city with his wife, or trying out a new recipe, Dr. McCray is always living life to the fullest. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and currently serves on the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine’s Alumni Board.

Dr. Judy Chou

DDS

Dr. Judy Chou is a pediatric dentist who started her life in Los Angeles, California and moved her way up the west coast, spending most of her adolescence near Portland, Oregon and continuing north to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She then decided to undertake her dental education at NYU College of Dentistry in Manhattan, followed by two additional years of specialty pediatric training at Yale New Haven Hospital.

However, her gravitation towards the pediatric population started long before her involvement in dentistry. She had spent a summer as an English teacher on a small island off the coast of Taiwan and provided healthcare and education to underserved children in Lima, Peru. In addition to her global endeavors, she is an experienced art instructor and swim coach and volunteered as a tutor for minority youth in Washington.

Along with her board certification in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Chou is also certified in sedation and laser frenectomies. She is affiliated with the American Dental Association, The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is an active member of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Chou is excited to continue her work in serving the children of the DFW community by delivering outstanding care tailored to the unique needs of each child.
